Set it up

1. 1Check the water tank at the back has water in it — lift it off and fill from the tap if it's low
2. 2Press either button to switch it on. The lights flash while it heats, steady when it's ready — about 30 seconds
3. 3Lift the lever, drop a pod in, push the lever back down
4. 4Cup under the spout. Small button for an espresso, big button for a longer coffee. It stops on its own
5. 5Milky? Fill the frother to the lower line for froth or the upper line for hot milk, lid on, press the button. It clicks off when it's done
6. 6Lift and lower the lever again to drop the used pod into the bin inside — empty that when it's full

Watch out for

• Running it with an empty tank — it'll cough air and flash at you
• Leaving used pods in the machine or the drawer full. Empty it, it takes ten seconds
• Filling the frother past the top line — it overflows
• Not rinsing the frother jug after milk. Rinse it straight away, milk sets like concrete
